Judi Glennon
Manager, Military Child Education Coalition, Parent Programs
Judy Glennon graduated from Missouri Southern State University and was commissioned as a 2LT in the United States Army Signal Corps in 1981. She spent the next 20 years enjoying the adventure of being an Army Officer, wife and military mom. After retirement in 2001, Judy took some time off to enjoy raising her four children and volunteering in the community, her church and with the Boy Scouts of America as an Adult Scouter. She began working with The Military Child Education Coalition® in 2009 as the Parent Programs Manager, overseeing the two core components of the MCEC parent initiative, the MCEC Parent to Parent™ program and the MCEC Tell Me A Story® program. Judy’s focus is on increasing availability for military-connected parents to quality workshops that provide tools and resources to help them become their child’s best advocate as they navigate the often turbulent educational and social/emotional situations that military-connected children face. For the past year, she has also served as the deputy to the Vice President for Programs and Business Development, assisting in the day to day operations of the department and leading the program management team as they focus on expanding the reach and impact of MCEC programs and trainings.
