The course Caring for Veterans Through the End of Life: Compassionate Communities was both enlightening and deeply moving
It highlighted the unique challenges and needs of Veterans during the end-of-life journey while emphasizing the importance of creating supportive and compassionate communities. The training offered practical strategies and resources to ensure dignity and respect for Veterans and their families. It also underscored the value of collaboration and empathy in providing care during such a critical time. I found the content to be highly relevant, and it has given me greater confidence in supporting Veterans in my professional role. Thank you for offering such a meaningful and impactful course! ā Elliott [Last Name], Director of Education, Project Hope Generation Inc.

I like the title
As a clinician having worked in MH for 18.5 yrs I found this presentation actually comforting and hope that many others find the presentation as valuable. Second segment - well presented by sharing experiences with veterans. I had one veteran WW2 veteran who was a bombadier suffering from a dementing disorder nearly every visit he would cry about being responsible for killing babies.. several times after he left the office. I cried.

Useful information
Taking the course has given me a great insight into what may be going on with end of life veterans. Introduced issues and OR approaches I was unclear of before. Very informative and useful information. I will take what I learned and incorporate it into how I care for my clients at end of life

Saying, "Thank you", in the most important way.
A perfect teaching tool to help vets and their families when facing a end of life situation. Assistance is all around and willing to help with anything the vet or the family needs.
